We are working hard to plan for our upcoming 2025 Summer Full Moon Jam Season and, per our sponsorship agreement with the Chicago Park District, will be announcing our event dates towards the end of May. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months!
WINTER WORKSHOPS SERIES FINALE
The Chicago Full Moon Jam is hosting our final Winter Workshop Series on Saturday, April 12th, 2025. This daytime all-ages flow workshop will be held at the beautiful Humboldt Park Fieldhouse and will be free to attend (there is a $20 suggested donation, which can be made on the Full Moon Jam website or via Zelle to info@fullmoonjam.org).
Classes will take place between 10:00am - 4:00pm and there will be a Flow Jam Skill Share from 4:00pm - 5:00pm. Props for every class will be available and a free allergen-friendly lunch will be provided at 12:00pm!

The Full Moon Jam Flow Prop Library will be available for all the Winter Workshop classes so anyone can attend regardless of experience. If you have any old props you would like to contribute to the FMJ Flow Prop Library, please send an email to info@fullmoonjam.org with the quantity and condition of the props you would like to donate!

BETWEEN THE TREES FESTIVAL - MAY 1ST- 4TH, 2025
The Full Moon Jam is excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Between The Trees Festival at Hawks Bluff Campground in Blackwell, MO, from May 1st - May 4th, 2025!
Between The Trees is an amazing, family-friendly festival that takes place at a beautiful venue one hour south of St. Louis, MO. This healing event intertwines adventure and genuine connections through art, live music, fire dancing, flow, classes, camping, yoga, acro-yoga, slacklining, dance, sound healing, nature, flowers, rocks, and more!
Organizers of the Full Moon Jams will be hosting an open fire circle, leading fire safety workshops, and featuring the FMJ Flow Prop Library. Those who take the FMJ fire safety training at Between The Trees will be added to our performer list and permitted to perform at all Full Moon Jams for 3 years!
Under the open sky, embrace the raw, unfiltered essence of life.

My first Full Moon Jam was in August of 2022. I watched all the jams in 2023 and started performing at them in 2024. In 2021, I was taking burlesque classes with Gaea Lady, and she told me she was going to teach fire spinning and that I should learn. I was not excited to spin fire, but I was excited to meet new people during the pandemic. When I started Fire Spinning, I was terrified, but I kept showing up until I learned to love it.
The jams bring people together like no other event in Chicago. The vibes are immaculate. If this is your first jam or 50th, this event continues to surprise and delight audiences and performers alike.
I perform Burlesque, Pole Dance, and Fire Spinning. I co-teach Fire Starters, a beginner Fire Spinning workshop with Rogue Fire Dancers. Sign-ups and show schedules can be found on my Instagram @em.erald.ivy
